Also had a few birthdays pop up within the last month or so and thought I'd share my cards with you all. I don't know how interested anyone is in them but I have fun. And speaking of cards and interest in them... I have been thinking about selling some of my handmade greeting cards. How interested are people in buying them? Would people buy them? I need to get a little more practice under my belt - I feel a little rusty - but assuming I turn out a good product surely there would be someone out there who'd be interested. Right? What are your thoughts on the matter? Are any of these cards even up to what people are looking for? Please be honest in your feedback. It's what will help lead me in the right direction (or what I believe to be the right direction anyway). And is anyone else feeling déjà vu? I feel like I've asked you all this question before. I still value your feedback/ideas/comments/etc.
I had another stamping date with my girlfriend Grace. She had a sample card that looked similar to this but in pink and purple which was cute but I was inspired to go grey and yellow. I like this color combo.
Again my friend Grace comes through with her Stampin' Up supplies. She showed me how to use embossing powder and a heat gun which, in this instance, gives dimension and texture to the green parts of the tree.
This was made for my sugar junkie friend Jo Ann. If you are ever in need of a little something sweet to eat, just look her up.
I actually made a birthday card last month using this chandelier and decided I liked it so much I'd use it again. Here's the card I made for my dear, sweet and terribly funny friend Jean. Of course a girl's gotta have glitter!
Then last but certainly not least I was missing my girl (my niece Alexis) pretty badly so I thought I'd send her a card letting her know. She is the sunshine of my life - my sweet, sweet, funny girl.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. And thanks in advance for any feedback you can give. Love to all!
Shameless Plug - Don't forget about the fab sale at Lettering Delights still going on this month. They have super fun stuff there and tons of inspiration. Have a look-see.
